Stephen Mooallem is a New York-based journalist, media executive, and creative consultant.
He is currently editor at large at Hearst’s flagship fashion and luxury title, Harper’s Bazaar, and previously served as the editor in chief of Interview, the art and culture magazine founded by Andy Warhol, and The Village Voice, the legendary New York news weekly. The media brands he has led and helped shape have been nominated by the American Society of Magazine Editors for 12 National Magazine Awards, including six nominations—and one win—for General Excellence, the organization’s top honor.
